Excellence in School Wellness Awards 2013

There’s nothing more important than the health of our students – and the 51 schools honored at this year’s Excellence in School Wellness Awards are prime examples of school communities working to promote it. The awards ceremony, which took place June 6 at the offices of the city’s health department, honored the schools for implementing health and wellness programs, including Breakfast in the Classroom, Move to Improve, and Cookshop and providing salad bars and healthy snacks.
