Article 8 — Salaries and Other Compensation

  1. Annual Base Compensation Rates

    Minimum Annual Base Compensation Rates for Full-Time Registered Nurses hired on or after December 13, 2012:

    Experience* Effective
    1/1/2016
    Less than 1 year $79,279
    1 year but less than 2 years $81,339
    2 or more years $84,429

    *Experience refers to relevant and comparable Registered Nurse experience, including outside experience. 

  2. Base Compensation Rate Increases
    All Registered Nurses will receive the following increases in their base compensation rates:
    Effective December 1, 2016: 2.325%
    Effective March 1, 2018:  2.325%
  3. Longevity Differential

     

    Full-Time Registered Nurses shall receive a longevity differential based upon continuous employment with the Employer as a Registered Nurse as follows:

    1. After five (5) years of service with the Employer, Registered Nurses shall receive a Longevity Differential in the amount of two-thousand dollars ($3,000) per year.

       

    2. After ten (10) years of service with the Employer, Registered Nurses shall receive an additional Longevity Differential in the amount of seven-hundred-fifty dollars ($750) per year.

  4. Education Differential

    The Employer shall pay an Education Differential in the amount of two-thousand-seven- hundred-fifty dollars ($2,750) per year to a Regular Full-Time Registered Nurse who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.  The Employer shall pay an additional Education Differential in the amount of one-thousand-five-hundred dollars ($1,500) per year to a Regular Full-Time Registered Nurse who holds a Master’s degree in Nursing.

  5. Certification Differential

     

    The Employer shall pay a Certification Differential in the amount of one-thousand-five hundred-dollars ($1,500) per year to a Registered Nurse who holds a current Case Management Certification, and one-thousand-five-hundred dollars ($1,500) per year to a Registered Nurse with a current Psychiatric Mental Health Certification, provided that the Registered Nurse is assigned to and working on the Intensive Care Management team.

  6. Regular Part-Time Registered Nurses  
    Regular Part-Time Registered Nurses shall receive a pro-rata rate under this Article.
