The UFT joins with the National Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (NLCLAA) with all its affiliates, allies, and civil society organizations to repudiate all efforts to the privatization of Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport, and the privatization/deregulation of any and all segments of Puerto Rico’s infrastructure, natural resources, and/or economy.

Resolution to support rally for the New York SAFE Act

We participate to give meaning to the deaths of thousands of children and adults in New York and across our country from gun violence, and to help prevent further gun violence from harming any others, including the children and adults whom we as educators, nurses, therapists and child care providers work every day to nurture and protect.
