The Bully Project
The Movie
Over 13 million kids will be bullied this year, making it the most common form of violence experienced by young people in the nation. The documentary film BULLY, directed by Sundance and Emmy-award winning filmmaker Lee Hirsch, brings human scale to this startling statistic, offering an intimate unflinching look at how bullying has touched five kids and their families.
The BULLY Project is the social action campaign inspired by the film. The Project has sparked a national movement to stop bullying – and the UFT is a proud to be a partner and supporter, as we all work together to transform kids’ lives and change a culture of bullying into one of empathy and action.
