Functional Chapter Notices of Election
Notices of elections for UFT functional chapters are posted below.
The following functional chapters are holding elections this year via mail ballot:
- Attendance Teachers
- Hospital Schools
- Lab Specialists
- Paraprofessionals
- School Counselors
- Sign Language Interpreters
- Social Workers and Psychologists
- Supervisors of School Safety
- Teachers Assigned (the chapter representing teachers assigned to district or central offices)
If you belong to one of these functional chapters, be on the lookout for your mail ballot and voting materials from the American Arbitration Association (AAA), which is administering all functional chapter elections.
If your functional chapter is not listed above, no election will be conducted this spring because open positions remained uncontested.

Nominating forms
Nominating forms for most functional chapters were due at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12. Nomination forms for the Retired Teachers Chapter were due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16.
