Welcome to the Social Workers & Psychologists Chapter
Vanessa Pressley
Dear colleagues,
Welcome to school year 2012-2013! I hope you had an enjoyable and restful summer. My name is Vanessa Pressley and I am your newly elected chapter leader. The chapter’s office is located on the 16th floor of 52 Broadway in Manhattan. We are here to respond to your questions and concerns. I can be reached by email at vpressly@uft.org or by phone at 212-598-7724.
The chapter’s leadership consists of citywide officers, six borough leaders, and an executive board. The list of borough leaders can be found on our Chapter Representatives page. There is someone available in the office to respond to your calls during regular office hours, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Please be sure to include a non-DOE email address and/or a non-work number when you contact the office.
Please bookmark this page and check back for important events, news and items as well as links to the special education complaint and workload dispute forms. We will try to keep the website as up-to-date as possible. We look forward to your suggestions and input as this is your chapter. We are here to help.
Have a great school year!
Sincerely,
Vanessa Pressley
