    ATSS & Jewish Heritage Committees are co-sponsoring with the American Society for Yad Vashem its annual conference on Holocaust Studies for Educators. The theme is “Ethics and Responsibility: The Investigation and Prosecution of Nazi War Criminals in the United States and How It Relates to Our Children.”

    The keynote speaker will be Eli M. Rosenbaum, director of Human Rights Enforcement Strategy and Policy, U.S. Department of Justice. Workshop topics include: Seeking Justice for Holocaust Victims, The Holocaust Liberator, The Second Generation, and Holocaust Survivors Speak.

    Teaching materials will be available. Kosher breakfast and lunch will be served. Conference is free but registration is required. To register, contact Carolyn Herbst at 646-258-1942.
