  • Math Workshop for Per Diem Members Workshop 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    This is a Math workshop set up by the Teacher Center for the benefit of Per Diem members. Agenda: “Supporting Students with Critical Reading and Writing Strategies Outcomes.” A representative from the Teacher Center will lead a workshop of 35 people who must send an email to uftprofessionalcommittees@uft.org. Only the first 35 will be selected.

    All registrants will be selected on a first come first serve basis and must bring a copy of their email confirmation to gain admission. Include title and date of workshop in your email. Refreshments will be served.

  • Paraprofessional Workshop: How to Work with your Occupational and Physical Therapist Workshop 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    Join us for our next workshop on "How to work with your Occupational and Physical Therapist." This workshop is for full-time Paraprofessionals only.   • Targeting NYC K-8 Social Studies Scope and Sequence: Are You Hitting or Missing? Workshop 4:15 pm - 6:15 pm

    Participants will examine both the NYC K-8 Social Studies Scope and Sequence and NYS K-12 Social Studies Framework and explore activities for deepening an understanding of the Social Studies Practices. Attendees will leave with examples of instructional approaches that make connections and address these six practices. Registration fee is $10.
