  • ATSS Annual Fall Cultural Bus Tour Arts & trips 9:00 am - 9:30 pm

    Join us for our Annual Fall Cultural Bus Tour, Going Global in Westchester County; An Art and Dining Adventure. Bus will depart from 52 Broadway at 9 a.m. and returns at 9:30 p.m. The cost is $149 per person and includes a docent guided tour at the SUNY Purchase NY Neuberger Art Museum's special exhibit, “Destination Latin America;” a self-guided look at the Neuberger's permanent African Art collection; and time to explore the gift shop. Lunch will take place at La Bella Havana, a Cuban restaurant on the Yonkers waterfront.

    We will also have a docent guided tour of Matisse line drawings at the Katonah Museum of Art, Katonah, NY (curated by Ellsworth Kelly and including Kelly's plant lithographs). Dinner will be at Tagine, a French and Moroccan bistro, in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

    The UFT, in collaboration with the DOE and Fordham University, presents ELL Raising, a free conference for all educators to learn strategies to help English language learners reach their full potential. Registration will begin shortly.
