Notice to all Medicare-eligible SHIP members

Medicare has advised us that we cannot reimburse out-of-pocket expenses for prescriptions since this will affect "TROOP" (True Out-of-Pocket) expenses under Medicare Part D.

The SHIP Board of Trustees is looking at benefits that the Retired Teachers' Chapter may still be able to extend to our members. These benefits will be announced when changed.
