Montreal Jazz Festival SOLD OUT!
Join UFT members, friends, family and retirees for the three-day Montreal Jazz Festival on July 3– 6. Highlights include an escorted four-hour bus tour of Old Montreal, including the Place Ville Marie, the International Quarter, a Victorian-era Golden Square Mile, the Mount Royal Park, St. Joseph Oratory and Plateau Mont-Royal in the Latin Quarter. Stroll through Jean-Drapeau Park and the Old Port of Montreal. Charlottesville, VA and the Shenandoah Valley
Join UFT members, family and retirees on a three-night, four-day trip through Charlottesville, Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley Aug. 10–13. Walk in the footsteps of historic figures: Visit Ash Lawn Highland, James Monroe’s magnificent estate, and wander the grounds where exotic peacocks still roam free. Our tour guide offers a new perspective on Thomas Jefferson as he guides you through Monticello, Mulberry Row and the Jefferson cemetery. The Women of the House tour features Dolley Madison and four of her contemporaries who founded and farmed Montpelier and later fought for freedom. A trip to the Frontier Culture Museum lends a living perspective to those who migrated to the colonies from England, Ireland, Germany and West Africa and the lives they built here.

A Weekend in Lancaster County, PA
Join UFT members, family, friends and retirees when we return to Lancaster County for this historic tour of the Amish countryside over the Columbus Day long weekend, Oct. 10–12. Sample the local cuisine in Kitchen Kettle Village and dine at Plain & Fancy. Enjoy touring the Moravian town of Lititz, which features the National Watch and Clock Museum and the Wilber Chocolate Factory, dating back to 1913. Celebrate Columbus Day at the Rockvale Outlet Mall, shopping with your complimentary discount coupons. Prices are per person: $438 for single occupancy, $333 for double occupancy and $302 for triple occupancy. Price includes round-trip coach transportation, driver's gratuity, one lunch, two dinners, two nights at the Lancaster Hotel with continental breakfasts and guided tours of Lititz, and the chocolate and clock museums. UFT Defensive Driving Course
A driving course that can save you money and maybe your life!
For credit you must attend one full-day course or both parts of a two-session course, in sequence (if you miss the first class you cannot take the second). Limit: 40 students.
- BRONX: 8:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m. (one session, Saturday or Sunday): May 16, June 13
- BROOKLYN: 4–7:15 p.m. (two sessions, Tuesday-Wednesday): June 2-3
- MANHATTAN: 8:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m. (one session, Saturday or Sunday): June 21, July 17 (Tuesday), Aug. 11 (Tuesday)
- QUEENS: 9 a.m.–4:15 p.m. (one session, Saturdays): June 20
- STATEN ISLAND: 8:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m. (one session, Saturdays): June 6
Cost: $40 per person. Checks must be received one month prior to first preference and must be made payable to UFT/Safe Driving. Write “Safe Driving” on envelope. Confirmation: A letter will be sent to you indicating admittance or denial based on state class-size regulations. If you do not receive a letter in two weeks, call 212-598-6861. Refunds: If you cannot attend, please submit a written request with a copy of your canceled check (front and back). Allow four weeks to receive refund. Refunds can only be given during the current school year that original request was submitted. Credit: You may take a course only once every three years for insurance reduction benefits, and once every 18 months for point reduction. For active members only.

The UFT no longer offers discount cards to theme parks (Sea World, Busch Gardens, Sesame Place, etc.), but as a union member you can still obtain discounts from NYSUT by calling 1-800-626-8101; or from the AFT by visiting its website.

TO PURCHASE TICKETS BY MAIL, download this form. There is a four-ticket minimum for mail orders. Orders of over $100 will be mailed via UPS and will require a signature. You may also come in person to UFT headquarters at 52 Broadway in Manhattan, where we accept personal checks up to $100, money orders and cash in any amount.
