Niagara Falls SOLD OUT
Join UFT members, friends, family and retirees as we explore the beauty of our scenic American Falls August 8–11. Visit the New York Niagara Reservation State Park, take the Maid of the Mist boat tour to the base of the falls and brush up on local history at the Discovery Center. The Golden Age of King Midas at the Penn Museum — Sept. 17
The story of King Midas is one of influence and power. More than 3,000 years after his death, visitors are still fascinated by the spectacular gold work, crafted by nomadic Scythian and Lydian tribes, that marked his reign. This exhibit offers a unique opportunity to view recently unearthed metalwork, monumental stone sculptures and ivory reliefs of the Assyrian and Persian periods, currently on loan from three museums in Turkey. Come join UFT members, retirees, friends and family when we travel to Philadelphia’s foremost museum of archaeology and anthropology, the Penn Museum, on Saturday, Sept. 17. In addition to this exhibit, the Penn features an extensive permanent collection of Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquities.

UFT Defensive Driving Course
A driving course that can save you money and maybe your life!
For credit you must attend one full-day course or both parts of a two-session course, in sequence (if you miss the first class you cannot take the second). Limit: 40 students.
Bronx: One session, 8:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m., Saturdays: June 18.
Brooklyn: Two sessions, 4–7:15 p.m., Tuesday–Wednesday: June 7–8.
Manhattan: One session, 8:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m., (Saturday) June 4, (Tuesday) July 12, (Wednesday) Aug. 10.
Queens: One session, 9 a.m.–4:15 p.m., Saturdays: June 18.
Staten Island: One session, 8:30 a.m.–3:45 p.m., June 4.
Cost: $40 per person. Checks must be received one month prior to first preference and must be made payable to UFT/Safe Driving. Write “Safe Driving” on envelope. Discount movie tickets
TO PURCHASE TICKETS BY MAIL, download this form. There is a four-ticket minimum for mail orders. Orders of over $100 require a money order and will be mailed via UPS, requiring a signature.
