New York City License/Appointment

As a newly hired pedagogue, you will receive an e-mail from the DOE’s Department of Human Resources indicating your certification, licensing, and appointment details. It will also include the license code and level, as well as your appointment and expiration date. This information should be placed in your official school file, but you should keep a copy for yourself in a safe place for future reference. Make sure this information is correct as it will affect your excessing seniority and date of completion of probation. If you find any errors, or you have any questions, please notify your chapter leader who can help you resolve the problem.
