Provider Grant program offerings
The Provider Grant Program was created for both members and non-members and offers quality professional development courses for our child care providers. We are aware that you are often the first teachers that the youngest residents of our city encounter, which is why we wish to equip you with the necessary resources to ensure your success.
The UFT Provider Grant program is always advocating for new benefits that will help support the needs of all providers:
- New 401K plan
- Upgraded supplemental health benefits: dental, vision, virtual one-on-one & group wellness coaching through Wellspark
- Mental Health Support provided by the UFT Member Assistance Program
- Continuing education: CPR, First Aid and automated external defibrillator classes; 10-hour courses for informal providers Medication Administration Training (MAT) classes; Child Development Associate (CDA) courses
- Ongoing communications regarding courses & workshops, health & safety information, events, contract negotiations and more
