Welcome to the School Nurses Chapter
Welcome to the school nurses' section of the UFT website. In this section, I aim to help you find information you need quickly. Please check these pages regularly for important updates on school nurses.
If you haven’t done so recently, be sure to sign up here on the website with your current email address. It takes just a minute. Only by signing up can you be sure to receive important emails from our chapter and the union. Signing up also gives you the ability to log in the website to see our contract.
As your chapter leader, I am here for you.
During the summer, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me by email at email@example.com and call your borough office.
Please keep an eye on this website over the summer for postings of next year's chapter meeting dates.
Thank you for all your hard work this year and the dedication you have shown every day to your students and school.
I hope you have a wonderful summer!
School nurses came together on May 6 at UFT headquarters for a National School Nurse Day Celebration, at which they were welcomed by Chapter Leader Cathy Connolly and UFT Assistant Secretary LeRoy Barr, and learned about their history from the chapter’s founder, B.J. Darby.
