Vouchers aren’t ‘cool’

Opinion

Private school voucher programs do take money away from public schools. In cities where there are 10 public schools to 40 private and charter schools, the public schools get less and less money for their own schools each time a new school opens. Charter schools and private schools are fine. Offering competition is good. Using public dollars to fund private school tuition isn’t cool.
