Math educators in grades 6–12 can apply for a Professional Development Scholarship from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics of up to $3,000 to finance coursework in number theory, discrete mathematics or the history of mathematics. Candidates must have taught math for at least three years, intend to remain in the classroom and be a member of the council. Proposals must include specific classes or a course of study, a budget and a letter of support from your principal.
