WHEREAS, the contributions of women to our society, economy, and culture have been immeasurable; and 

WHEREAS, March has been designated as Women's History Month to celebrate the women's contributions, nationally and internationally; be it therefore 

RESOLVED, the UFT, a union with a majority of women who have been integral to our work as educators and health care professionals, honors the creativity, innovation, contributions, and impact of women to our beloved union and our society at large during this Women's History Month.
