Provider dental coverage
We are pleased to be able to offer our members access to the Preferred Premier Dental Plan from EmblemHealth absolutely free. This plan provides access to EmblemHealth's network of over 10,000 Preferred dentists and specialists in New York and New Jersey.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As supplemental insurance, this plan can be layered on top of any insurance you already have without affecting your existing coverage in any way. If you have no dental insurance at all, this can serve as your primary dental coverage. The bottom line is enrolling in this benefit will not affect any existing coverage or benefits you may currently have.

The Preferred Premier dental plan covers the following. See the attached PDF below for a full explanation of benefits.
- Annual deductible: You pay a $0 individual deductible for Type A, B, C, and D services only.
- Annual maximum: $5,000 in-network and out-of-network combined.
- Implant maximum: EmblemHealth will pay up to $1,800 per implant when you see a Preferred Premier dentist or specialist, up to the annual maximum.
- Lifetime orthodontic maximum: $4,000 in-network and out-of-network combined.
