Resolution commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots
The UFT will continue their efforts to support the LGBTQIA+ community by denouncing anti-LGBT legislation, hosting trainings and educational town halls, and with a strong presence at this year's Pride March.
Resolution on the over assessment of elementary school students
The UFT will work with the New York City Department of Education to evaluate assessment practices for elementary school students.
Resolution to extend the hybrid delegate assembly rules
The UFT decides the rule allowing for hybrid attendance adopted in June 2021 be continued for the 2024-25 school year and that in June 2025 UFT delegates will revisit the question of the nature of the Delegate Assemblies for the following year, if not sooner.
Resolution for contingency endorsements of city offices
The UFT's Delegate Assembly authorizes the Executive Board to consider, make or modify endorsements during the summer in order to have a timely impact on any such campaigns.
Resolution to endorse Cassandra Johnson for Queens Surrogate Court Judge
The UFT endorses Cassandra Johnson to serve as a judge in Queens Surrogate Court.
Resolution ensuring optimal room temperatures for all students and educators in NYC Public Schools
The UFT will fight to ensure adequate working conditions and temperatures for all and continue to demand that every room in every building occupied by students and/or UFT members has regulated and acceptable temperatures at all times during the workday.
