Register your students for a college and networking event hosted by UFT Team High School in collaboration with the UFT Office of Parent and Community Engagement. For each college fair, teachers may register students for a one-hour visit.

Occupational and physical therapists are invited to drop in for digital "office hours" with Thomas Ayrovainen, the OT/PT chapter leader, and other chapter representatives. This is a chance to raise concerns and get answers to your questions.

As a state-approved provider of Continuing Education hours for Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Psychologists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), the LearnUFT program offers low-cost professional learning opportunities specifically designed to meet our members’ needs. This workshop will equip mental health professionals with the knowledge and tools to develop effective safety plans that can reduce risk and promote recovery when clients experience mental health crises.

The UFT Teacher Center and the Asian American Education Project are teaming up for a training about the history of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) immigration to the United States. This 60-minute workshop will explore the challenges and motivations of AAPI immigrants throughout U.S. history. You may register for this workshop or session one on Wednesday, March 25.

Academic high school members are invited to an online meeting with UFT Vice President for Academic High Schools Janella T. Hands. NYS Board of Regents Chancellor Lester Young Jr. will join us for a discussion on the "Portrait of a Graduate," the New York State framework that guides our work in nurturing academically prepared and engaged citizens. Registration is required. 

Come to a workshop on how to safely diaper children and maintain a safe and sanitary environment while providing this service in a school setting. UFT health and safety expert Jennifer Long will teach us everything we need to know.

Thriving in any work environment begins with building resilience. In this interactive online session hosted by CALM, participants will define and personalize their understanding of resilience at work, assess their current levels, and implement practical strategies to enhance adaptability, communication, and support networks for effectively navigating workplace challenges.
