UFT launches TV ad campaign honoring the work of school communities during the pandemic

The UFT is launching a television ad campaign honoring the work that New York City public school educators, parents, and students have done together during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The spot, “We Get It,” will run from Dec. 7 to Dec. 16 as part of a broadcast, cable and streaming campaign expected to reach more than 17 million combined viewers.

The ads will appear on programs such as the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Morning Joe, Good Morning America, and cable television including CNN, MSNBC, NY1, and News 12. In addition, the spot will run on Hulu and other streaming platforms.

The ad buy is expected to exceed $1 million. The spot was produced by Andi Johnson, a partner in the media division of GPSImpact.
