The American Tapestry Alliance (ATA)’s Weaving the Future Grants are designed to support weaving opportunities for children and to provide training in tapestry weaving to educators who will then teach weaving to children. The program provides grants of $250, which includes a personal stipend and funds to purchase weaving supplies. A final report is required to be filed within two weeks after completion of a weaving activity funded by this grant. Anyone who can teach tapestry weaving may apply. Membership in ATA is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.
