It is all part of preparing a seat at the negotiation table in advance of talks to win a new DOE-UFT contract next year aided by the important work of the union's record 750-member UFT Contract Negotiating Committee.

Standing union strong

“It’s going to take all hands on deck to get us from here to the finish line,” Carl Cambria, the union’s chief negotiator, told members on Sept. 17 during the first in-person meeting of the UFT Contract Negotiating Committee.
