Please register for a special virtual meeting about the UFT and UFT Welfare Fund programs that support you. We'll discuss the Supplemental Health Insurance Program (SHIP), Welfare Fund benefits, retiree pension benefits, the Si Beagle Learning Centers, Retiree Social Services and more.

Social workers and psychologists are invited to a meeting of their UFT chapter. We'll give updates on issues of importance to the chapter and to the union as a whole. You'll also have the opportunity to raise issues and get answers to your questions. Registration is required.

Jamie Polzin, UFT member representative, will give a presentation titled "Morale Matters." Learn how to boost morale in your school communities, with ideas for activities to bring staff together and inexpensive ways to show appreciation for your colleagues.

Academic high school members are invited to an online meeting with UFT Vice President for Academic High Schools Janella T. Hands. We will provide updates on issues affecting academic high schools and discuss broader issues affection the union and the city's school system. We want to hear from you! Registration is required.

Please join UFT District Representatives Nancy Aromando and Ariel Arroyo for a workshop on functional behavior assessments (FBAs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and the data collection processes that support them. Participants will learn the purpose and components of FBAs and BIPs and explore the procedures for developing them. Attendees will also learn how to effectively monitor progress and use data to better support the students we serve.
