Parents and caregivers are invited to register for The Anatomy of an Individualized Education Program (IEP), a free workshop for parents and caregivers presented by Steven Mintzer, the UFT liaison to the DOE's Division of Inclusive and Accessible Learning. We’ll learn about the information that is included in the different sections of an IEP. We’ll review special education services and offer guiding questions for you to ask as you help craft your child’s IEP. We’ll also practice advocating for our children in an interactive portion of the workshop.
