Observations are a waste

New York Teacher

I have been teaching long enough to remember when, after achieving a master’s degree plus 30 credits (which most teachers have) and becoming tenured (three years of observations), we were trusted to be the true professionals we are and not “observed.” We need to return to those days! These observations are too much pressure and mostly a waste of time for teachers and administrators alike.
