My school is short paraprofessionals, and the paraprofessionals are not getting paid enough to do the tough job that they have to do. We have numerous students with major needs and IEPs that state a paraprofessional is required for them in the classroom and there’s nobody for them. It is making the teacher’s job to teach very, very difficult, and it affects all the other students in the class, too.
