Paraprofessionals Chapter Special Election

The UFT Paraprofessionals Chapter is holding a special election this spring for the following positions: first vice chairperson, second vice chairperson and two Executive Board at‑large positions. 

All previously elected paraprofessional officers and two Executive Board at-large members continue to serve. 

  • Election notice
  • The deadline for the receipt of nominating petitions and candidate statements was April 1 at 5 p.m. and has now passed.  
  • Ballots will be mailed to members on or about April 28. Ballots are due and will be counted at the UFT on June 8.
  • The newly elected officers will finish the term ending June 30, 2027.
