Anger doesn’t just live in our thoughts — it also lives in the body. This group centers on the physiological experience of anger and how to notice, understand, and care for what your body is holding.

The English Language Arts Council/UFT invites you to celebrate National Poetry Month at our online "Poem in Your Pocket" event. Please bring an original poem or one written by your favorite poet. We'll take turns expressing ourselves and sharing art.

Occupational and physical therapists are invited to our monthly chapter meeting. You may join in person or online. Please join us either in person or online to hear updates from your representatives, catch up with your colleagues, raise issues and ask questions.

Register to attend the first meeting of the UFT School Librarian Committee. Membership is open to all UFT members including those who are not school librarians. If you can't attend in person, you may join us online. 

Please attend our monthly School Nurses Chapter meeting. I will provide chapter and union updates and answer any questions you have. This is a great opportunity to find out what is happening in your chapter and hear what your fellow members have to say.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is an evidence-based type of therapy that helps individuals learn how to live in the moment, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others.

Brooklyn parents and caregivers are invited to register for a parent summit focused on leadership and community engagement. We will introduce and explain concepts related to parent power within the DOE, such as school leadership teams and parent teacher associations. 

Earn four hours of CTLE credit with the UFT Teacher Center. This session for teachers and paraprofessionals is designed to strengthen K-12 science and engineering instruction using the Next Generation Science Standards, which focus on real-world applications of science concepts. Through discussions, practice and grade-level examples, participants will learn to support their students as they investigate the world around them.
