June 23 primary election

Our statewide organization, New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) issued recommendations for primary election races for congressional candidates for endorsement by the union’s national affiliates, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and National Education Association (NEA). NYSUT also makes recommendations to the NYS AFL-CIO regarding these elections as well as statewide and NYS Legislative elections.

Voting deadlines

• June 23: Primary Election Day. Polls are open 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.  Also, the postmark deadline for mailed ballots in the primary election. Find your poll site »
