Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities have played active roles throughout U.S. history, yet their narratives and contributions are often overlooked. When included in the curriculum, these stories are frequently taught in isolation, with little attention paid to the moments of cross-cultural solidarity and collective struggle alongside other communities. This workshop seeks to bridge that gap by equipping educators and students with historical context, shared narratives, and tools to teach AAPI history through a lens of connection and solidarity.
