My classroom snack cart

In my pre-K classroom, we don’t have a set snack time. I’ve created a self-serve cart so students can get their own snacks when they choose during playtime, and our 'cart pushers' roll it outside for recess for students who want to eat their snack then. We have a play-based curriculum so the snack cart gives students as much time to play as possible and, at the same time, empowers them to decide when and where they want to snack. It also allows us to be flexible when we have a schedule change.
