The union’s new Bronx borough office.

The UFT’s Bronx borough office relocated over the summer from Halsey Street to 2100 Bartow Ave. in Co-op City, near the Bay Plaza Shopping Center. The fourth-floor offices of the low-rise structure are open on a limited basis this fall to UFT members who are meeting one-on-one with union representatives and pension consultants.

When construction on meeting and event spaces at the new site is completed, the UFT’s Bronx borough office will be open for workshops, Si Beagle classes, chapter leader meetings and other events, said Mary Atkinson, the Bronx borough representative.

Parking on site is free, and the location is easily accessible by bus. The UFT’s Bronx borough office was previously located on another floor of 2100 Bartow, before moving to Halsey Street in 2003.
