UFT hospital nurses on front lines

Federation of Nurses/UFT members at Staten Island University Hospital South have important messages for the public during the coronavirus outbreak.

For the last 22 months, the medical personnel and first responders of our city have answered the call to help people in need. They have labored around the clock to protect and take care of us during the pandemic. We owe them a sincere debt of gratitude for all they have done, are doing and will continue to do.

Our dedicated doctors, nurses, EMTs and other medical personnel, along with our dedicated firefighters and police, MTA police and corrections officers, sanitation workers and transit workers, as well as our parks workers, are the best in the country.

May all of these wonderful people and their families have a joyous holiday season, and a happy, healthy and safe 2022.
