Thank you to Tom Murphy for the very necessary, very illuminating “From the Chapter Leader” column in the Oct. 28 issue. As he illustrates, the words chosen to express the new NYC Medicare Advantage Plus plan indeed are thoroughly confusing. For us older children trying to manage our retired parents’ affairs in their old age, Murphy’s semantics “lesson” was super helpful.
