Regarding changes to Tier 6 to reduce the retirement age by five years with 30 years of service:
A huge win. The difference between 58 and 63 is huge. When you’re 63, you can look back and think, “I could have still been working the last five years.” To the members who have been in this fight and those who have watched from the sidelines, know that the rallies, the lobbying, the voices make a difference. The fight continues. There are more gains to be made, but we will take this win.
