The United Federation of Teachers, as part of its national union’s presidential endorsement process, will host Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden at the UFT’s annual Teacher Union Day on Oct. 20 in New York City.

Parents, students, teachers and local office-holders and community members came together to celebrate the official opening of a school-based health and vision center at PS 18 in the South Bronx.

The UFT is welcoming students and teachers back to New York City’s public school this fall with a radio campaign highlighting recent public school successes.
