Anthony Pollice, known to many as Frank, was a social studies teacher at JHS 115 and JHS 143 in Washington Heights for 34 years.

Marilyn Froim was a UFT member for 35 years, retiring as a home economics teacher from PS 225 in Brooklyn at the age of 54.

Alice Blasso was a UFT member for 30 years and taught special education at PS 122 in Queens.

Harold Saltzman was a UFT member for 61 years, and a dedicated organizer and activist with the union.

Francine Freundlich was a UFT member for 15 years, teaching at Prospect HS, kindergarten and working with young children in the Department of Education’s LYFE program.

Donna Rubens began teaching at PS 63 in Manhattan in 1966, teaching K-3 classes there until she transferred to PS 235 in Brooklyn, where she taught pre-K until her retirement.

Amy Kargman was a UFT member for 50 years, first teaching third grade at PS 279 in Brooklyn, before becoming art coordinator that school.

Caridad Gutierrez was a UFT member for 30 years, most recently as a bilingual teacher at PS 1 in the Bronx.

Amy Sims served as a UFT chapter leader at City College Academy of the Arts in Manhattan for seven years.

Suzanne Darrigrand spent 28 years as a dedicated teacher in various schools, most recently sharing her love of music with the students of PS 15 in the Bronx.
