We are gravely concerned about the reports that the UFT received today from schools across the city of possible new coronavirus cases.

UFT members are right to be troubled. We are in constant contact with City Hall and the city Department of Education as we continue to do everything in our power to protect our school communities.

We will continue our communication with government officials. We believe that ALL options to stop the spread of this virus should now be on the table.
