Primary Day Vote

Primary day is on Tuesday, June 23, with early voting beginning on Saturday, June 13. Monday, June 22, is the last day to request a primary election mail ballot in person.

Primaries are being held for all statewide offices, including governor, state comptroller and state attorney general, as well as for all U.S. House seats representing districts in New York City and throughout the nation.

Our statewide organization, NYSUT, issued recommendations for primary election races for congressional candidates for endorsement by the UFT’s national affiliates, the AFT and NEA.

Check out these recommendations to inform your own choices and make a plan to vote early or on Tuesday, June 23, for primary day.
