Tom Brown is a lifelong educator, UFT member and pension expert who currently serves as the UFT assistant treasurer and chair of the TRS Board.
As a Spanish teacher of 29 years and UFT chapter leader for 18, Tom started working in the UFT Pension Department in 1997 and has continued his leadership ever since, serving on the TRS board for the last 12 years and participating in retirement and pension boards across New York State and nationwide.
He has earned the trust of countless UFT members, retirees and TRS members – many can attest to Tom's dedication and genuine care for each and every need.
