UFT tent expands: The UFT rolled out the welcome wagon for the more than 3,000 teachers who traveled to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center to kick off the DOE’s New Teacher Week. Teachers learned about all the benefits and support that come with union membership. They left with UFT swag in their arms and some swag in their step as they learned the UFT will always have their back. ALSO IN THIS ISSUE: 9/11 25 years later: UFT members remember.
