UFT retirees are invited to register for a free, informational meeting on the UFT Welfare Fund Retiree Social Services and the UFT Welfare Fund Legal Plan benefits presented by Christopher Chin, director of Retiree Social Services for the UFT Welfare Fund.  

The Hospital Stay in Touch, Telephone Reassurance and other Retiree Social Services programs will be discussed in detail. Caregiving, home care and aging issues will also be addressed. An attorney from the Legal Plan will also join to go over power of attorney, free simple wills, health care proxies, how to access the plan from different states, the elder law supplement, elder law issues as well as estate planning and trusts.
