Whether through activities associated with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or Wear Pink days, UFT members across New York City have been front and center during October to raise awareness and funds to fight the disease.

Register for the UFT's Annual 5K Family Run/Walk at Maimonides (formerly MCU) Park, the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones! Run as a family, organize a team (chapter, school, work site, friend group, etc.) or simply run on your own! The 5K Family Run/Walk benefits the UFT Disaster Relief Fund.

Celebrate Juneteenth with the UFT African Heritage Committee. Together attendees will walk through the historic neighborhood known as Weeksville to the Weeksville Heritage Center. See the historic Hunterfly Road Houses and attend the Juneteenth Food Festival!
