Let's Talk About It

As we enter a third school year affected by the pandemic, it may sometimes feel like you need to be superhuman to get everything done. Join the UFT Member Assistance Program’s new virtual wellness series to learn coping and healing skills and to find support and connection. These interactive sessions are led by professionals in the field. You’ll leave with tools, ideas and a new outlook to take with you into the new school year.

  • An Hour For You: To relax, take a deep breath and find your inner calm.
  • Virtual & Interactive: Share an experience with others in a supportive setting.
  • Led by Experts: Each session is led by an expert in their field.
  • Free & Voluntary: A free benefit for UFT members only.

Free to be stress-free: Breathwork and meditation for stress-free living
Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Learn simple yet effective techniques to manage stress. A combination of cognitive, breath-based and meditative processes will help you reduce stress, increase energy and focus, and achieve optimal performance. You will:

  • Identify the universal human qualities you value and want to maintain.
  • Learn breathing techniques that can help you remain calm.
  • Experience a guided meditation.
