The UFT co-sponsored a college fair in the Bronx that helped English langugage learners and recent immigrants navigate the college admissions and financial aid process.

Nearly 100 UFT members and parents accompanied a UFT float Sept. 3 at the 51st West Indian Day Parade, an annual celebration of Caribbean culture in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

Student talent — from fashion and award design to culinary and musical skill — was on display at William H. Maxwell Career and Technical Education HS in East New York, Brooklyn, as Maxwell hosted a fashion show on June 16.

Two hundred UFT members joined the city's annual Pride March down Fifth Avenue in June.

Seventeen students were honored and presented with laptops and printers at the UFT's first Bronx HS District and Pathway to Graduation Recognition Awards Ceremony and Dinner in June.
