UFT Vice President for Career and Technical High Schools Sterling Roberson and Adult Education Chapter Special Representative Patricia Crispino testified before the New York City Council Committee on Education regarding a local law to amend New York City’s administrative code to require the mayor's office of operations to report on adult literacy programs.

UFT Vice President for Academic High Schools Janella Hinds and UFT Director of Community and Parent Outreach Anthony Harmon testified before the City Council on Education regarding reporting from the Department of Education on Gender and Sexuality Alliances.
