Resolution to support earthquake victims in Puerto Rico

The UFT will partner with NYSUT and the AFT to provide disaster relief to affected regions and encourage and assist members to support earthquake victims in Puerto Rico.

The UFT reaffirms its opposition to hate and discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, sexual orientation and gender.

The UFT endorses Thomas M. Brown for re-election as a teacher-member of the Teachers’ Retirement Board of the City of New York for a three-year term beginning in 2020.
